"Reclaiming the Church
&
Family
For Christ"

I'm Rev. Robert John Kuiphoff (Pastor K) and my wife of 45 years plus is
Mary Diane Kuiphoff.

The Lord given us the desire to reclaim His Church and Christian families for Christ.  We must work hard "now" to accomplish that.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, was "Born Again" in 1955, when I was 12 years old.   In 1978 I had the wonderful privilege of leading my wife to Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior.  Mary was "Born Again" at 35 years of age.

Ordained March 7, 1982 as Pastor and Minister of the Word of God in the Independent Baptist Church that my family and I were members of and served for a number of years.  Since my ordination I have served as  Senior Pastor and Interim Pastor of Baptist and Bible Churches in Upper and Lower Michigan, invited guest speaker for Pastor conferences,  Administrator of a K-12 Christian School;  Shepherding and tutoring Christian Home education students;  Senior Chaplain of a County Jail system and a voting "board member" and "Chaplain" of two Upper Peninsula of Michigan  County Boards.  Under the leadership and direction of the Holy Spirit, reorganized and planted a Bible Church in Lower Michigan.

Over the years the Lord has privileged me with the blessings of leading men and women, Dads and Moms, Grandpas and Grandmas, boys and girls to Christ for their  personal Salvation;  Disciplining men and women in their personal Christian walk and service;  Reconciling marriages and Ministering the Word of God to Pastors and Christian leaders one-on-one and at Pastor's seminars.

My education includes:

*Graduate of Grand Rapids Baptist College, Dean's list where I also attended Seminary.
*As a family, we attended New Tribes Mission Institute completing the intense course in
  Systematic Theology, Bible Doctrine and Boot Camp which included jungle training.
*LeTourneau College with Construction Technology as the major immediately after graduation
  from High School.
*Journeyman trained and certified Tool and Die Maker in die making and high-speed automation
  Western Michigan University and Fisher Body Corporation, Division of General Motors
,
  Kalamazoo, Michigan.
*Michigan State University, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, Michigan, Real Estate I and II.

My wife and I have been married 45 years, plusOur three sons are married and have blessed us with six grandchildren.  The Lord has prepared my wife to be a very able and capable co-laborer with me in the work of the ministry.  Young ladies, wives and grandmothers can learn much from her wisdom and experience as a successful wife, mother, business employee, business owner and office manager.

My wife and are  are not stuffy old codgers who have never lived in the "REAL" world,

My work history includes:

*Following the Apostle Paul's example of being a tent maker and the Apostle Luke's example of
  being a Physician, we've owned and managed JIL Enterprise, L. L. C. since 1991 and have been
  Federally registered since 1994: www.jilenterprisellc.com
*Mary is a Certified Professional  Secretary [CPS], Executive Administrative Secretary a major
  Insurance and Financial Corporation;
*Management and  conflict management consultant from a Biblical perspective;
*Superintendent of Tool and Die, automotive manufacturing;
*Plant Superintendent, automotive manufacturing;
*Superintendent of construction, mall renovation;
*Journeyman Die Maker and High Speed Automation Specialist;
*Journeyman rough and finish carpenter;
*We grew up in farming communities.  In my youth, beginning at 10 years of age through high school,
   I worked for several area farmers, the local farm livestock auction barn and our local  automotive
   service station.  Mary worked for blueberry farmers picking blueberries.

We've stayed in touch with the 21st. century.  I enjoy down hill skiing and my wife and I both enjoy:

** off road 4-wheeling;
** mountain biking
** basketball
** volleyball
** softball / baseball
** children
** young folks
** and young and old married events {especially the young married and their events).

We live in the same, what the world calls,  "real" world that you live in, have all of our lives and know from experience the curves that life can throw at us:

I have been hospitalized several times and have had numerous surgeries.  All but one level of my lumbar spine is fused and my neck is fused at three levels.  I'm 66 years old and I still enjoy down hill skiing, pointing my skis down the mountain and going fast -- not leisurely criss-crossing the mountain.

Mary is a four-time cancer survivor having undergone Chemo-therapy, Rutixin Therapy, Radiation Therapy, a lobectomy, a lung resection surgery and is, once again, battling cancer.   You will never know when you meet my wife that she has cancer or has ever ever had a day of illness in her life.

Mary and I attack life.  We simply do not allow our 18 year old brains to be controlled by our bodies.

And, just like many of you, we've lost loved ones and live with family issues also.

Strange as it may sound to you, some Pastors and their wives are actually humanoids too and Mary and I are definitely humanoidsWe have so very much that we can share with you personally or with your Church family about life and our Lord's ever present watch care over us; His promised and never failing minute by minute daily provisions for our lives and the victories He promotes, provides and enjoys through us in and through life's speed bumps!!  We can draw on our life's experiences coupled with the Word of God to encourage, counsel and help you in yours!!  The following verse is a major verse in Mary's and my life for ministry.

2 Corinthians 1:2-4
"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, [4] who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

&

Psalm 11:3
"If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

We enjoy life!!

Monday through Saturday we're a "blue jeans, work hard and get your hands dirty" couple and we regularly hear from young folks, "we can not imagine the two of you ever getting old."  My birth certificate tells the world that I was born in 1943 but that can't possibly be true because my brain tells me that I'm only 18.  My wife certainly can't be as old as her birth certificate says she is because she's the same 20 year old I married over 40 years ago     We cannot stop getting old but we certainly do not have to grow old!!!

This is our preferred, Monday through Saturday, dress.

We believe:

1. In the infallibility of  the Word of God;
2.
In the purity of the Word of God;
3.
In the truth of "all of" the Word of God;
4.
That salvation is by a personal commitment by faith in the risen Lord Jesus
    Christ;
5.
In Believer's baptism;
6.
Salvation is free because Jesus Christ fully paid for our salvation on the
    cross.  Just because our salvation is free, please understand that
there is no
    such thing as
"easy believism," "painless repentance" or "low to no
    personal investment" Spiritual Christian living.  Though salvation is free --
    the Christian life is not.

We believe:
7.

In the
sanctity, purity and permanence of marriage,
8.
 In the sanctity of life and children.
9. In the communion of the Believers.

We teach, preach and practice separation from worldliness and ecclesiastical apostasy.  It is a fact, though we live in the world -- we must not become "like" the world.
