“Doctrine
of the Beginning”
QUESTION #1- Who created the universe, heaven and earth? ______________________________ Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." COMMENTARY: In the very 1st. verse of the Word of God, the Bible, God -- the author and genesis of all creation and life -- uses a word to introduces Himself that those of us who do not understand the Hebrew language simply read as the title "God" and have no conception of the true meaning of the Hebrew word for God. Our English word for "God" is a translation of the Hebrew word 'Elohiym, [pronounced, el-o-heem']. 'Elohiym is plural similar to our English understanding for the word "we." Our God -- in His Wisdom -- referred to Himself using the Hebrew plural word "'Elohiym" thereby laying the foundation for all humanity to understand the "Trinity" (plural) or the Judaic Christian doctrine, the "Doctrine of our Triune Creator God, three Persons in one". Unlike those of us who do not read or understand Hebrew, the first readers were Hebrew readers and clearly understood that 'Elohiym was not single dimensional and also, because of the article - ' -, their God was declaring Himself to be a multifaceted, Supreme God.
Genesis 1:2, "And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.” The very first chapter and the 2nd. verse introduces us to the 2nd. person of the trinity, "God the Holy Spirit." The Hebrew word for Spirit is ruwach [pronounced roo'-akh] and has several meanings i.e. wind; by resemblance breath, spirit etc. God's Spirit, your spirit and mine are unseen. I cannot see your spirit just as you cannot see mine. Yet, you and I both know that when some individuals enter a room almost everyone in that room senses that person's presence even though they haven't been introduced or said a single word. As well, unless the breeze blows dust into the air, you and I can not see the breeze, where it is coming from or -- where it is going. Yet, we know from observation and experience that the breeze can be a very powerful and unseen working force. No breeze is single dimensional.
Genesis 1:3, “Then God said, ‘Let there be light’ and there was light." And, in the 3rd. verse of the Bible introduces us to the 3rd. person of the Trinity, God the Son, Jesus Christ. God is a spirit. Do spirits have vocal cords? To have vocal cords it's necessary to have a neck and throat. Spirits do not have vocal cords and they cannot speak audibly to be heard with another person's ears.. Do you, like myself, find yourself talking to yourself? Asking yourself questions, giving yourself answers or even -- arguing with yourself? I.e., "Self, why did you do that?" Where would a question like that come from with in our brain? Wasn't it from your spirit through your brain? And, was it your brain that uttered the words using your physical -- self? You and I are not single dimensional just as God isn't single dimensional because we are created in the likeness and image of God. Let's try to understand God the Father, God the Holy spirit and God the Son, Jesus Christ. If you're not familiar with this teaching just try to hang on, it's going to get a bit bumpy, ok? Genesis 1:26-27, "Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." [27] And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." God the Holy Spirit has the God provided larynx in the person of Jesus Christ, who is God. Let's prove that Jesus Christ is actually -- God: Matthew 1:23, "Behold, the virgin shall be WITH CHILD, AND SHALL BEAR A Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which translated means, "GOD WITH US." [God, Greek- theos, the supreme Divinity] John 1:1-2, “In the beginning - was the Word, [Jesus Christ is The Word] and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God.” John
1:10 In the following passage we are instructed that Jesus Christ is both, God the Son and God the Creator God, Colossians 1:13-18, "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, [14] in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. [15] He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. [16] For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. [17] And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. [18] And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence." Isaiah 45:18, “For thus says the Lord, Who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, But formed it to be inhabited), “I am the Lord, and there is none else.” God said through the prophet Isaiah, He only knew of one /god in the whole universe and that was Himself therefore, He and Jesus Christ is that One and Only God. NOTE: It is very important to remember -- there is only “ONE” SUPREME / CREATOR GOD in the universe – GOD / HOLY SPIRIT / JESUS CHRIST. Allow me to give to you an analogy to consider: Is our brain and our spirit one-and-the-same? No. Our brain has the capacity to think, give direction and think thoughts. Our brain only sustains life but our brain isn't the author of life. Our spirit is the author of life. When the spirit dies, man dies. When a brain dies, life can still be sustained. What would a brain and a spirit be without a body? Just spirit. Now consider God the Father, the author of all thought -- the brain. God the holy Spirit the giver and sustainer of all life. And God the Son, Jesus Christ the Carpenter and working Engineer of everything created on earth, in Heaven and in the Waters under the earth. Just as we are mind soul and body, so is our Heavenly Father, Creator and Saving God and Holy Spirit. You and I are three in one just as 'Elohiym / God is three in one. We are made in His likeness and in His image. Praise the Lord! Revelation 4:11, “Worthy are You, our Lord (Jesus Christ), and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You did create all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.” [ Lord, Greek, kurios (supremacy); supreme in authority] QUESTION #2- Who created man / you and me? __________________________________ ? Genesis 1:26-28, “Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." [27] And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. [28] And God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Psalms 139: 1-7, “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. [2] You know when I sit or stand. When far away you know my every thought. [3] You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment you know where I am. [4] You know what I am going to say before I even say it. [5] You both precede and follow me and place your hand of blessing on my head. [6] This is too glorious, too wonderful to believe! [7] I can never be lost to your Spirit! I can never get away from my God! [8] If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the place of the dead, you are there. [9] If I ride the morning winds to the farthest oceans, [10] even there your hand will guide me, your strength will support me. [11] If I try to hide in the darkness, the night becomes light around me. [12] For even darkness cannot hide from God; to you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are both alike to you. [13] You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother's womb. [14] Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous--and how well I know it. [15] You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion! [16] You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book! [17] How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly!” [Living Translation]
“Doctrine of fellowship and love” QUESTION #3- Why did God / Jesus Christ Create you and me? __________ & ____________ Genesis 1:26-28, “Then God said, "Let Us

John 3:16, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” 1 John 1:4, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.” 1 John 4:10, “In this act we see what real love is: it is not our love for God but His love for us when He sent His Son to satisfy God's anger against our sins.” 1 John 4:19, “ So you see, our love for Him comes as a result of His loving us first.” "Special note to L. D. S.; Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses and others" Jesus Christ is The Mighty God and The Everlasting Father Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 44:6 IMPORTANT
QUESTION:
According to Isaiah's inspired writing, there are no other Gods {Upper case "G") in the universe beside the Lord and God of the nation of Israel. The Apostle John wrote: John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He continued writing about Christ as the "Creator God" within that same passage John
1:3, "All things were made through Him, and without Him
nothing was made that was made" and These combined verses written by Isaiah the Prophet and the Apostle John under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit clearly creates a major problems for Mormons, Latter Day Saints, Jehovah Witnesses and other cults. Question: How can there be two (2) Gods when God clearly states that He is the One-and-Only God and there are no other Gods beside Himself? In Isaiah 44:8b the Hebrew word for "God" is "Tsuwr". "yea, there is no God / Tsuwr; I know not any." The Hebrew word for God / Tsuwr means a rock or boulder; figurative a refuge. In the inspired letters written by the Apostle Paul quotes Isaiah 28:16 and Isaiah 8:14 and declares to you and to me that Jesus Christ "is" that "Rock". Romans
9:33 Please understand that the inspired words of Isaiah are correct. There is only one God / 'Elowahh / Tsuwr / Yehovah / 'Elohiym. That One-and-Only God is Jesus Christ. John 1:1, The Word of God continues teaching that Jesus Christ is the Creator God:
Colossians 1:16-17, "For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: 17And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist."
Moses trusted In Jesus Christ's Old Testament pre-existence:
Hebrews 11:24-26, "By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward."
2 John 1:7-11 and Jude 1:4, Give ample warning that all who do not accept by faith the above have been deceived and are – deceivers
2
John 7-11, "For many deceivers are entered into
the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is
a deceiver and an antichrist. [8] Look to
yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that
we receive a full reward. [9] Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. [10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: [11] For he that bids him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds."
Jude
1:4,
"For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked
out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into
lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ."

Do I agree with God that I must stop my sins? ________
FACT: you are unwilling to stop your sin (s) and agree with God that any and all sins deserve death and hell, you can not be saved
Then: We must trust in God’s gift of Christ’s shed blood on the cross at Calvary for our salvation and nothing else i.e. baptism, catechism, church attendance or membership, good works etc.
Acts 16:31a, “And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved…"
Acts 4:12, “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”

1 Corinthians 15:1-4, “Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, [2] by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. [3] For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, [4] and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”
Ephesians 1:13-14, “In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-- having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, [14] who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory.”
NOTE: When we are truly saved, Born Again, we immediately receive the Holy Spirit with in us. “after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-- having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise…”
Truly saved individuals do not pray for a “Second blessing” “In filling” etc. The Holy Spirit is God.
QUESTIONS:
Am I willing to trust only in the blood of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of my sin (s)? _____________
Do I agree with God that there
is no salvation in anything or anyone other than Jesus Christ? ________ FACT: If you are unwilling to trust only in Jesus Christ for your salvation from sin, you cannot be saved!

QUESTION: Do you remember the time when you accepted Jesus Christ as your "Personal Lord and Saviour" and, became a "Born Again Christian"? __________________
Jesus Christ said the following:
John 3:7 "Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’"
Jesus Christ also said,
John 3:3 "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Based on the Word of God, it is very evident that a person must be "Born Again" to be saved. God said through the Apostle Peter that Christians are…"Born Again" people:
1 Peter 1:23, "for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God."
Notice how a person is born again. We are saved, born again Christians "not of seed which is perishable." The seeds that are perishable are church membership; being confirmed; infant baptism; or even, faithfully going to confession. Think about it, churches close. The church you were confirmed in closed, your confirmation papers are lost or, your not living like a Christian really should live. Baptized an infant? What did you know about Christ and salvation as an infant? You go to confession and you leave and do the same sinful things over and over again. How does that assure you that you are saved?
You see, you have doubts because there is no assurance "inside of you." No real peace that you are saved. No real joy in life and no real joyfulness in daily living. The doubts come because everything you have been told to be saved are "perishable." You can not think of a thing that you have done about salvation that is "imperishable," correct?
If you are not sure that you are a Born Again Christian, according to the Word of God, you aren't. Read the following verse and you will quickly discover that I am not making a judgmentally harsh statement:
The Apostle John wrote,
1 John 5:10, "The one who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness that God has borne concerning His Son."
Notice that the born again Christian has an "internal assurance" of their salvation? A born again Christian has the living Holy Spirit within. removing all doubts and creating real peace of mind and heart. Do you have real peace of mind and heart?
The question of how must I become a born again Christian is answered by the Apostle Paul in the following verses:
Acts 16:30-31a, "and after he brought them out, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" [31a] And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved."
What does it mean to be saved / born again by imperishable seed? Again, the Apostle Paul gives us the answer:
Acts 4:12, "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved."
The name of that man is Jesus Christ. Why, because He is the only man in the history of the world that was crucified on a cross, buried in a grave and then arose from that grave and lives today. He alone, is that imperishable seed.
Have you ever said to God, in prayer,
"Lord, I am a sinner and I do not want to go to hell for my sins. I hate sin but I really have no control over my sinfulness. I don’t have real peace inside me. I don’t have real joy and life isn’t really a joyful experience.
I confess my sins to you [if you know of specific sins that you are living in your life, confess them by name].
I am prepared to repent [NOTE, to repent means to stop and turn from any known sin, totally give that sin up] and make right any sin that I have committed against another person, regardless of my own personal cost. Salvation does not mean that you are not supposed to apologize to folks that you have offended or, in some other way, defrauded etc. The saved person must confess to and pay for crimes that have committed against others. You cannot buy salvation in Christ Jesus because Salvation is free. Christ, alone, paid that price. Being saved and living the Christian life has personal cost. It is our investment in our eternal existence and we must be willing to pay that price. Salvation is free but -- the Christian life is not free and it never has been. How badly do you desire Salvation in Jesus Christ?
As you walk you “Christian Life” in shoe leather, always remember two facts about the Christian life, (1) There is no such thing as “working to earn” salvation. (2) There is no such thing as salvation “that doesn’t work.” According to Your Word God, if I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, and trust only in Him and His death, burial and resurrection for my salvation, I will be a saved, born again Christian.
I accept your Word as the true fact AND I now, at this moment, accept Jesus Christ and Him only, as my salvation.
Thank you, in Jesus name, for my salvation and I now know that I am Heaven bound when I die.”
If you have never prayed a similar prayer, would you pray the prayer that I have provided for you right now, right at your computer? If you do and…you truly mean it, you will become a saved, born again Christian, immediately. You will know it and have that peace, joy and joyfulness that is absent in your life.
Any other way of salvation is a lie and…Satan really wants you to continue to believe those lies!! If you have any questions, please use the mailbox and I will attempt to answer any question that you may have. If you do pray and accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour, again, please use the mailbox to tell me so that I can pray for you and rejoice with you.
